Reviews
There are so many good books out there and I love to share them. I read a little bit of everything in all kinds of genres, so maybe one of these will interest you (Note: unless otherwise indicated as Middle Grade or Young Adult, all books are for adults and not suitable for children):
Beneath the Deep
by Andrea Chatman
From Iowa to under the sea, this monster hunt is a thrilling read and a fun mystery!
AmazonGlimmer in the Darkness
The Gender Game
Firebird
Time of Death
by Nathan Van Coops
I enjoyed this twisty time travel mystery. It kept me guessing until the end.
AmazonHidden Currents
ISAN
Stained Heart
by Crystal Joy
Crystal joy’s books are so sweet and tender while also throwing in a dose of danger. Grace is focused on running her bed-and-breakfast and raising her ten-year-old son. Caleb returns from the military and runs into Grace, his high school sweetheart, who had left without a word ten years before. When a flood, an arsonist, and a wedding throw them together, sparks fly. I loved this final book in the Homeward Bound series.
AmazonThe Watchmaker’s Daughter
by CJ Archer
While the main conflict of the story felt a little unresolved at the end, I loved the characters so much that I will read on. India Steele and Matthew Glass are a couple that you want to root for. This was a historical novel with magical elements thrown in, but those elements were woven into the plot realistically.
AmazonPart of Your World: A Twisted Tale
by Liz Braswell
One of my favorite movies growing up was The Little Mermaid! Liz Braswell did an excellent job taking Ariel’s story and rewriting the ending. Highly immersive and detailed. Loved it!
